Ceol Nua: Warsaw Radio – Down by the Sea
Warsaw Radio release new single and start Irish tour
Brighton based, Limerick born band Warsaw Radio are returning to Ireland this week to launch their amazing new single “Down by the Sea“.
The band is fronted by Irish man Brian McNamara, who is bringing this blend of indie and folk to test it out at home; to what will certainly be a great response.
The tour begins tonight in the famed Spirit Store, Dundalk, with the official single launch kicking off in Whelans Dublin tomorrow night.
Down by the Sea is a really catchy tune, with punchy lyrics and a sweet melody; it feels really familiar yet really fresh and is certain to get a lot of airplay.
It features a luscious mix of harmonies, violins, subtle percussion and a powerful trumpet which ties it all together beautifully.
It would be very worthwhile to catch these guys at one of their shows:
Feb 7 The Prince Albert – Brighton
Feb 16 Spirit Store – Dundalk
Feb 17 Whelans – Dublin
Feb 18 Crane Lane – Cork
Feb 19 Dolans – Limerick
Feb 20 Roisin Dubh – Galway
