windings – Boring is the brand new release from the Limerick quintet from their 2016 album “Be Honest and Fear Not“. Championing Boring for quite awhile on our respective 8radio.com shows, it has been a favourite at Ceol Caint HQ since the album release – even making it into Lofty’s top 20 Irish albums of the year.

Boring is an absolute stomper of a track, less than two and a half minute of powerful dynamite with an opening liner to rival that of any I’ve ever heard. It’s an instant hook, one which reels you in and holds you to the end. It’s safe to say this offering from windings puts them up there with the greatest Irish bands of recent years.
