Adam interviews Hip Hop producer Habitus

Habitus, or Danny to his friends, is a Bristol based Hip Hop producer and MC, hailing from the sunny shores of Arinaga in Gran Canaria, Spain.

Danny moved to Bristol after performing as an MC back home, and was absorbed by the Hip Hop scene there, collaborating with many Bristol producers and artists.

His love for music is wide ranging and draws from funk and soul, as well as from classic Hip Hop producers such as Pete Rock and Lord Finesse. Danny, like them, prefers to take the analog route in his productions choosing hardware over software when possible.

I caught up with him in his studio recently to talk about his passion for music.
