The Co-Present alternative Irish music radio show has broken away from their original home of to follow the independent broadcast route.

Fronted by Presenter and Producer Dwayne Woods and supported all the way by Sound Technician and show co-founder Gav Hennessy, it’s a brand new show featuring the best of Irish.

Spotlight On will see the duo travel to music hotspots across Ireland, to check out the home grown talent in each county. With the aim of highlighting music venues and artists from different areas outside of Dublin, The Co-Present are giving musicians a unique showcase platform not often available in rural areas.

Well known Music Journalist and Presenter Dwayne Woods is passionate about Irish music; even managing Ceol Caint favourite Naoise Roo. This new independent direction is giving Woods an unrestricted opportunity to uncover hidden gems in the Irish music scene; ones who are not getting the platform they so truly deserve.

Having teamed up with videographer ‘Paradoxial Recordings‘ (who the guys have previously worked with on their Villagers live from The Olympia Theatre video) the Co-Present are proud to introduce the first video in the series ‘Spotlight On Dundalk’. The debut in the series features live music and chat from local acts  We The Oceanographers and Elephant  from Dundalk’s iconic venue Spirit Store.

There’s a lot more to come, with dates planned for Kilkenny, Cavan, Waterford and Limerick. We definitely recommend you keep your spotlight on The Co-Present; really looking forward to what else is to come.
